Overview: Jacko’s Corner is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our team on a per diem basis. This role may involve working in the restaurant or supporting events both on-site and off-site. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology, excellent customer service skills, and the flexibility to work at least two shifts per month.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and guest preferences.
  • Set up and break down the bar area for events, ensuring all supplies and equipment are properly organized and maintained.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary bar area.
  • Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders, providing recommendations, and ensuring a positive guest experience.
  • Monitor and manage inventory of bar supplies, including restocking as needed.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including responsible alcohol service practices.
  • Collaborate with the event team to ensure smooth and efficient bar service during events.
  • Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Provide support in other areas of the restaurant or event as needed.


  • Previous experience as a bartender in a restaurant or event setting.
  • Strong knowledge of mixology, beverage recipes, and bar equipment.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Commitment to working at least two shifts per month.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
  • Manual dexterity and the ability to handle bar tools and equipment safely.
