Event Server / Waitstaff (Per Diem)

Position Overview: Join our dynamic team at Jacko’s Corner in Salem, NY, as an Event Server / Waitress. This unique role involves providing exceptional service at both on-site and off-site events, as well as occasional shifts at our restaurant. Ideal for individuals who enjoy a flexible schedule and the excitement of working in various environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver outstanding service during special events, including weddings, corporate events, and private parties.
• Set up and break down event spaces, ensuring all elements are arranged to perfection.
• Serve food and beverages with professionalism and attentiveness to guest needs.
• Collaborate with the events coordinator and kitchen staff to ensure seamless event execution.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas throughout the event.
• Provide excellent customer service, addressing guest inquiries and requests promptly.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in hospitality, catering, or event service preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Reliable transportation to travel to off-site events as needed.
• Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.
