We are looking for a creative and tech-savvy Social Media Assistant to help us enhance our online presence and drive revenue growth.

Position Overview: As a Social Media Assistant at Jacko’s Corner, you will be responsible for managing our social media accounts, creating engaging content, and assisting with email marketing campaigns. You will also help with event photography and videography to capture the essence of our events and dining experiences. This role requires proficiency in social media platforms, photography, videography, and familiarity with WordPress and Shopify.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and update Jacko’s Corner social media accounts (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, Twitter).
  • Create and post engaging content, including photos, videos, and written posts.
  • Capture high-quality photos and videos during events and regular restaurant operations.
  • Assist with email marketing campaigns to promote special events, menu updates, and other restaurant news.
  • Monitor social media analytics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Help maintain and update the restaurant’s website using WordPress.
  • Assist with managing the online store using Shopify, including updating product listings and promotions.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement strategies to increase revenue and customer engagement.
  • Stay up-to-date with social media trends and best practices to ensure Jacko’s Corner remains competitive in the digital space.


  • Proven experience as a Social Media Assistant or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter) and tools (Hootsuite, Buffer).
  • Strong photography and videography skills, with a good eye for detail and composition.
  • Experience with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp) and campaign management.
  • Familiarity with WordPress and Shopify.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to generate new ideas and content.
  • Flexibility to work nights and weekends as needed for events and content creation.
